Wow, after a while of trying... not, I've gone almost a whole day without swearing. Little things have thrown me off the past few days but today was great. I had an awesome time playing with my son and watching the second of the released to video star wars movies. I'm making progress on all of my goals and in January my wife and I have committed ourselves to doing the Whole 30 program. I'm refusing to call it a diet. I need it after this holiday season like 90% of Americans likely do. We've already started planning meals and have both read the book.
I've had 4 days off of work including today and I work Monday - Wednesday this week and get 4 more days off from Thursday through Sunday. I'm planning on going hiking Thursday if the weather holds out. I'm really enjoying picking away at the 101 in 1001 goals. They are stretch goals (sort of) but they are manageable in small quantities.
I'd like to take this moment to plug my favorite item that I purchased in 2015. It's a Coffee Press. It's made by GSI and I've been using it for about 2 months every day. I pay about a quarter per mug (15 oz) of coffee now and it is better coffee than the K-cups or other brands out there that are quickie brewed. It takes a few minutes for a good cup but it's well worth the wait and cheaper than going out to buy it. Due to the whole 30 program in January I will be drinking it black. I just add a 1/2 oz of half and half now so the transition won't be bad. Half the time I forget anyway.
