Today is day 1 of my 101 in 1,001 challenge. Per my last post, I have 101 challenges/tasks to undertake in the next 1,001 days. There's no doubt in my mind I can complete them, but being a list person and an ambitious one, I am going to get a head start this month. Basically, I have to complete about 3 tasks per month. Some tasks take an entire month or even more so to get started I should have at least one difficult thing.
As of today, I have 0 of 101 tasks completed.
Here's what I am going to concentrate on for December.
3. Find a quote for every item on the list.
Why not start here. "I love the ritual of drawing up lists, and there's something wonderfully satisfying about ticking tasks off." - Shaida Kazie Ali
7. Floss every day for 2 months.
I want to do this and here's why. I recently chipped a tooth, turns out I needed a crown. I went in for the crown and was told oopsie, you need a root canal. Now I'm all paranoid as I floss um. never. Since my appointment I have been flossing daily, no exceptions. I'm currently on day 22 of flossing every day but for this challenge, it's day 1. Here's hoping I can sustain this through January.
26. Hike on average at least one day per month.
I obviously cannot finish this this month but I can at least get started. With a little luck, I may be able to cross off a Maine 4000' peak too. We'll see what the weather does. I have actually 2 days scheduled off to go hiking December 4th and December 31st. Here's hoping one of those days pans out.
66. Finish reading the bible.
I started reading the bible in 2013. I'm about 75% of the way through it. I do well at some periods of time and then I will stop reading for 2 months and pick it up again. I just want to get this over with.
67. Read 10 random Wikipedia pages
It's always good to learn something knew.
