So we've been a busy family and needed to get out of the house.  We bought Max some new snowshoes for Christmas so we figured we should get out and use them.  We had a great time, the weather was in the high 20's and Max got used to his new feet really quickly.  He didn't like the poles though so I ended up carrying them nearly the entire way.

The hike is only a mile or so and level so great for little ones learning a new craft.
