We hit the Mt. Major parking lot and of course it was full sober parked about 1/4 mile south on route 11 and walked to the lot. Hundreds of people were on the mountain today but Max was the coolest.
Max was so happy. We bought him his own camelback so now he feels like a real hiker.
On our way up we taught him about the paint on the trees. He pointed it every blaze we saw the entire trip.
Max did great on the Boulder Loop Trail and liked it at the top when it was not so steep.
When we got to the top we are our lunch and Doritos. Max even laid down to relax for a minute.

It took about 4 hours for this hike. We had a great time and as always, stopped at Johnson's for ice cream on the way home.
